MAC3T : 3 ton shock test bench
This installation, designed for shock testing on military hardware, reproduces the half-sine excitations representative of underwater explosions or the effects of pipe rupture. As the only one of its kind in Europe, it is able to undertake tests on equipment weighing up to 3 tons. Being large in size and supplied with several hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic services, it is able to test equipment in actual operation, e.g. pumps, valves, poppet valves, heat exchangers, etc.
